Ex-Bostik boss on board at Dabbers

The former head of the Northern Premier League's title sponsors Evo-Stik and their parent company Bostik has joined Nantwich Town's Board.

Tony Davison, pictured, was Managing Director of Bostik when the global sealants and adhesives supplier announced their three year title sponsorship in April 2010 and was a regular face and speaker at Evo-Stik NPL events including last June's Annual Awards Night at Blackpool's Hilton Hotel.

A follower of Non-League football already, the 55-year-old lives just outside Nantwich and has become a familiar face to fans at the Weaver Stadium since retiring last year and taking a keener interest in the Dabbers.

Davison, who had 15 years experience at Bostik before taking over as the company's UK Managing Director in 2007, is also Chair of Governors at Stafford College and was welcomed onto the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division club's Board on Wednesday night by Chairman Jon Gold.

Gold said: "I'm very pleased that Tony has agreed to become a Director of Nantwich Town. Tony's commercial skills and business acumen will be of huge benefit to the club in helping take us forward. It's great to have him on board."
