The Fair Play awards for November have gone to MICKLEOVER SPORTS, DURHAM CITY and LINCOLN UNITED respectively.
Mickleover, with only five cautions in their seven games during the month, were winning the award for the second month in succession and have moved clear at the top of the Premier Division season to date table and the £1000 prize money that the overall season winners will pocket next May. Last month’s leaders Ashton United have dropped to third but the biggest fall was that of Worksop Town who were second at the end of October but had a dreadful month discipline wise to drop to 16th place in the season to date table.
Durham City incurred just three cautions in their four games to lift the First Division North prize having worked hard to shake off a poor early season disciplinary record and became the first club other than FA National Respect and Fair Play winners Lancaster City to win this Division’s Fair Play award this season. Lancaster, however, still lead the overall season to date tables with just 0.5 caution per game ahead of Woodley Sports who also average well under one caution per game played.
Ilkeston FC and Lincoln United tied for the First Division South November award with three cautions each in four games but with slightly better Technical Area marks over the four games it was Lincoln who took the accolade. In the season to date tables Brigg Town closed the gap on leaders Leek Town to within touching distance.
