Family first for Royals keeper

Sutton Coldfield Town keeper Paul Hathaway has left Coles Lane to join Midland Football Alliance side Coleshill Town.

Hathaway joined the Evo-Stik NPL First Division South Royals in the summer from Atherstone Town but has left because of work and family commitments.

First-team manager Neil Tooth said: "Paul is a top lad and done well for us this season. However, with work commitments and a young family, he felt a move back to a local league would be best suited for him, reducing his travelling times in midweek and of a weekend.

"Work and family will always come first and we really wish him all the best for the future."
