Fans called up for sponsorship campaign!

EVO-STIK League New Mills are calling on their fans to spread the word about a new summer sponsorship drive the club has launched.

Officials are asking supporters to contact at least one local business each in the community to let them know about a prize draw to become their new main shirt sponsor next season.

Valued at £3,000 by the First Division North club, tickets for the sponsorship package at Church Lane are now on sale at £40 each with entry forms available on their official website.

New Mills chairman Ray Coverley said: "We believe this competition will help local businesses get behind the club and it has been priced very competitively to ensure it is affordable to everyone.

"For years we were somewhat spoilt by having Princess Cruises as a sponsor and the reality is New Mills is a small town and the financial climate is still difficult.

"So we are asking every supporter to contact one local business each and so hopefully it will be a great success, not just in New Mills but in the surrounding towns too."
