Heathcote signed for the club ahead of the 2022-23 season from North West Counties League side West Didsbury & Chorlton and made 54 appearances across all competitions for the Yellows, scoring six goals. The last of which came in a 1-1 draw against City of Liverpool.
In a statement on the club website, they said he would be a big loss for the team, but wished him well.
“He is a big loss both to the team and the club but we are very grateful to Sam for his service and the way he has conducted himself during his time with us,” they said.
“Good luck, Sam. We're sure that our paths will cross again sometime in the future!”
Meanwhile, Hanley joined in March from Premier Division side Stalybridge Celtic. He made eight appearances, with his only goal coming in a 2-0 win over Prescot Cables.
The Saint Kitts and Nevis international was sent off in his second game for the Yellows. He was sent off in the closing stages of their 3-2 win over Bootle after clashing with Andy Owen.
