Final Day for Fans say!

Nominations open for the Supporters Player of the Season

The fans get their say as the annual search for the Supporters Player of the Season gets underway.

With Tunde Owolabi being crowned the fans favourite at Radcliffe in 2019 at the Northern Premier League player awards and FC United in 2020 in the Online Best Player poll, the search begins to find the next player to join the likes of Julio Arca, Dale Hopson, Cheyenne Dunklerly and Robbie Dale who have all picked up this prestigious award.

Though the award found its place and was presented at the Player Awards, the award moves to an online platform for the campaign and becomes part of the decision process with the Judges for the overall player of the season discussion for that award presented at the League AGM later in the year.

The nominations process starts with a nominations process across the League's social media profiles and is now open for fans to start picking their favourites.

There are four ways to nominate:
- Via Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok in which to comment in the specific thread or photo with the rules posted
- Via Twitter, using the #PitchingInSPOTS Hashtag

The nominations close at 11:59 pm on Sunday April 3rd, which then a fans panel consisting of fans from across the leagues and the leagues' Radio teams help decide the 10 finalists for the poll.
