Nominations for the Pitching In Supporters Player of the Season is underway for the hunt for the 12th Player to pick up the award

The online format returns for the third season which last season saw Worksop Town's Liam Hughes pick up the award alongside the East Division Player Award,the search begins to find the next player to join the likes of Stephen Thompson, Tunde Owolabi and Robbie Dale who have all picked up this prestigious award.

Alongside the Team and Young Player announcements, the award will once again take place as a build up to this season Presentation evening and League AGM in June, all of which becomes part of the decision process with the Judges for the overall player of the season discussions.

The process starts with a nominations process across the League's social media profiles and is now open for fans to start picking their favourites.

There are four ways to nominate:
- Via Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok in which to comment in the specific thread or photo with the rules posted
- Via X (Twitter), using the #NPLSPOTS24 Hashtag and the nominations in the same post

The Nominations for the Supporters Player of the Season closes at Midnight tonight
The fans say on their fans favourite is reaching its climax as the Sunday Night deadline looms

Last season in the new online format of the Player awards, Diego de Girolamo picked up the Northern Premier League Supporters Player award, the search begins to find the next player to join the likes of Julio Arca, Dale Hopson, Cheyenne Dunklerly and Robbie Dale who have all picked up this prestigious award.

Alongside the Team and Young Player announcements, the award once again takes its place as a build up to this season Presentation evening and League AGM in June, all of which becomes part of the decision process with the Judges for the overall player of the season discussions.

The nominations process starts with a nominations process across the League's social media profiles and is now open for fans to start picking their favourites.

There are four ways to nominate:
- Via Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok in which to comment in the specific thread or photo with the rules posted
- Via Twitter, using the #PitchingInSPOTS Hashtag

The nominations close at 11:59 pm on Wednesday April 10th, which then a fans panel consisting of fans from across the leagues and the leagues' Radio teams help decide the 10 finalists for the poll.

NOMINATION RULES
Players must be fully registered to play in the Pitching In Northern Premier League at the time of the process.

The Player must have played in a First Team Match during the season.
(First Team Competitions being The Pitching In Northern Premier League, The Emirates FA Cup and/or The Isuzu FA Trophy)

Any player on Long Term Loan at a Member Club, or on Short Term Loan between two Member Clubs are eligible for the award.
Any Player on Short Term Loan from a Non Member club,Youth Loan or Work Experience are ineligible for the award
Dual Registered players are eligible providing the Parent club plays in the Pitching In Northern Premier League.

Any Player who has received a Suspension from the FA during the season for Non-Matchday reasons will be ineligible for the award.
(examples: Breach of FA Betting Rules, Anti-Doping breaches, Discrimination related bans)

Players and Managers cannot nominate any of their own players currently or represented the club during the 2023/24 season
