Final filming posts need filling

By David Watters

More than two thirds of the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's clubs will soon be powered by Pitchero Play with the hunt to recruit the final cameramen and women needed to cover every kick of a ball in 2017 well underway.

Pitchero, the EVO-STIK NPL’s official website provider, announced in November that they are looking to recruit a league wide pool of official camera operators to film clubs in action for Pitchero Play's weekly highlights show and other video initiatives planned for NPLTV in 2017.

According to officials at Pitchero's HQ in Leeds, only 23 clubs still need camera operators who'll be paid and trained to use their easy and intuitive system which is powered by the revolutionary new app they've developed to do all the editing!

Camera operators will be paid £25 per match to provide footage for the highlights show which was launched at the end of September to offer unprecedented coverage to supporters in one place after being trialled in the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight last Easter.

After the success of their recruitment drive so far, Pitchero Play's operations manager Tim Newton is now looking forward to candidates coming forward in the run-up to the festive season from AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Barwell, Basford United, Bedworth Town, Belper Town, Buxton, Carlton Town, Chasetown, Clitheroe, Coalville Town, Colne, Colwyn Bay, Gresley FC, Ilkeston FC, Kendal Town, Kidsgrove Athletic, Leek Town, Loughborough Dynamo, Matlock Town, Mickleover Sports, Romulus, Rugby Town and Witton Albion.

Newton said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for people who love the game to be paid to get behind the camera and use the latest tech in the sports industry while watching football. The camera operator roles could suit a fan who just loves filming or somebody looking to get into media work so we'd encourage anyone to apply.

"The application process is easy too, simply fill in the form on the link to our website and we'll be in touch with successful candidates about training to ensure they are up to speed on how Pitchero Play works and ready to bring the action to fans of the EVO-STIK NPL and its clubs around the world!"
