Former Shots steward named as match secretary

By David Watters

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Leek Town have signed a new matchday secretary who's not short of experience.

Father-of-three Tim Lucy has been appointed at Harrison Park as officials prepare for the big kick off to the First Division South season on Saturday.

Lucy, 50, is from Cheadle in Stafforshire. He started watching the Blues two years ago after moving back up north to Staffordshire Moorlands from Aldershot where he'd spent five years and risen to become chief steward at the National League outfit.

Lucy's first involvement at the club came when he originally joined the staff of Leek Town TV.
