Former Manchester United goalkeeper Nick Culkin has switched to Prescot Cables from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North rivals Radcliffe Borough.
Culkin still holds the record of the shortest debut in Premier League history, having just 80 seconds of action over seven years at Old Trafford after replacing Raimond van der Gouw in stoppage time against Arsenal at Highbury in August 1999.
He had loan spells at Bristol Rovers, Hull City and Livingston before signing for Queens Park Rangers in 2002 where he spent three years before retiring from professional football with a long-standing knee injury.
He came out of retirement to sign for Radcliffe in July 2010 and in his first season at Boro picked up the club, players and supporters Player of the Year
Awards after an outstanding season.
