Foxes clash to kick off milestone season

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Loughborough Dynamo are taking on Premier League bound Leicester City this summer as part of a series of events to mark the start of the club's 60th anniversary season.

First Division South Dynamo announced on Wednesday that the newly promoted Foxes will visit the Nanpantan Sports Ground on Tuesday July 22 in a pre-season friendly to mark the upcoming milestone campaign.

Dynamo officials say the City team will feature members of both the first team squad and the U21 Academy side and are set to reveal more details on the club’s official website in the coming days.

Loughborough Dynamo manager Tom Brookbanks said: "We are all thrilled to have Leicester City here as they build up to their return to the Premier League. It is also a great way to start celebrating Dynamo's 60th anniversary.

"I would love football fans in the area to come along to the Nanpantan Sports Ground and, as well as watching Leicester City, see what we at Dynamo can offer."
