Gingerbreads secure main sponsor

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Grantham Town have unveiled Northgate Vehicle Hire announced as their new main sponsor ahead of next week's kick off to the new season.

The Grantham-based specialists in commercial vehicle hire for businesses and private individuals are backing the Premier Division club for an initial 12 month term with an option to extend further.

Grantham's Commercial Manager Steve Cardy hailed the club's new front of shirt sponsor at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium.

He said: "We are absolutely thrilled to have Northgate on board for the season, we have negotiated the deal over the past few weeks and Northgate have been fantastic with their enthusiasm and commitment to the club and the town.

"We have discussed with them what's happening at the club, from our kids soccer programs through the youth football setup to the first team and the new squad for the season. Also, the foundations we are building behind the football to support the teams, with the MCS Centre and the work we are doing with local businesses and our charity and community work within Grantham.

"I have said before that we really want to grow the club and our support in Grantham. Northgate have seen all this, listened and decided that they want to be a part of it. We are delighted with that decision."

Grantham's Chairman Pete Railton is looking forward to working with the club's new partners and added: "Northgate have been fantastic. The team at the Grantham office couldn't have been nicer or more professional. They have been a pleasure to work with and we are very much looking forward to the new season with Northgate on board as our main sponsor.

"The feeling around the club at the moment is absolutely fantastic, everything is coming together and the season is shaping up to potentially be a really good one for the club and a lot of that is down to the support Northgate have given us."
