Sponsors sign at Dronfield

With a week to go to the start of the new season the world's oldest club is celebrating a new sponsorhip deal.

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Sheffield FC announced on Friday that gap, the UK’s eighth largest industrial recruitment provider with a strong presence in Yorkshire, had put pen-to-paper on a sponsorship deal for the new First Division South campaign.

The Club's Chairman Richard Tims said: "We are proud to announce a partnership with gap personnel, we feel the company as well as being progressive and forward thinking share our values of integrity, respect and community. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership."

Gap has a well-established branch at Castle Square in Sheffield city centre – part of a national network of high-street branches. Within Yorkshire, the gap group also has sites in Leeds, Castleford and Wakefield.

Nationally, gap personnel places and payrolls 7,000 temporary workers a week and provides staffing solutions to more than 1,200 companies annually. Clients include manufacturers, food producers, warehousing and logistics firms and recycling/waste management companies.

Matthew Hull, gap personnel's East UK Operations Director, is a Sheffield resident and looking forward to working with his local club.

He said: "Sheffield FC is a fantastic club with amazing history and heritage. We’re excited to be entering into what I’m sure will prove to be a mutually beneficial relationship."
