Goalkeeper Bayleigh Passant signs new contract

Marine have announced that goalkeeper Bayleigh Passant has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Passant, 21, joined the club from Tranmere Rovers, and was a part of their historic Emirates FA Cup run in the 2020/21 season.

Manager Neil Young said: "Bayleigh has improved immensely in his time with us so far.

"He is learning all the time, keen to keep on improving, and is working very hard with our goalkeeper coach Scott Tynan.

"Bayleigh is another one of our young players who has committed until the the end of the 2022/23 season. I’m sure all our fans will be delighted as I know Bayleigh is a real fans’ favourite.”

Meanwhile, the club has confirmed that Kyle Hayde has been recalled by parent club Tranmere Rovers. He made 16 appearances for Marine in an impressive loan spell this season, chipping in with two goals.
