Gray hails former Imps star

Brigg manager Mick Gray has hailed the signing of former Lincoln City midfielder Martin Pembleton.

The former Conference Premier star, pictured, agreed on Wednesday to join the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League's First Division South club for the new season.

The 22-year-old utility player spent the latter part of last season at First Division North Goole Town and has also played for Lincoln United, Buxton, Winterton Rangers and Bottesford Town.

Gray said: "Martin is a good footballer and can play in a number of positions. He has a lot of experience at this level and above and I'm delighted he's coming to the Hawthorns."
