Heavy traffic warning - M6 Northbound

Evo-Stik NPL fans, officials and players should avoid the M6 northbound this lunchtime if at all possible following a fatal accident early this morning.

Kendal Town versus North Ferriby United's 3pm kick off in the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division is already expected to be delayed after the motorway was closed earlier at Junction 35 at approximately 6.30am.

The northbound section was expected to open by 12.15 after the accident on the slip road but is still closed and diversions are in place. The carriageway is not expected to open until 2.30pm.
