Hollinshead leaves Seddon Stadium

Kidsgrove Athletic parted company with manager Shaun Hollinshead on Wednesday night.

Hollinshead, pictured, left the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League's Seddon Stadium after a run of five straight defeats led to talks with Chairman John Rowley. His final game in charge saw Athletic beaten 1-0 by a late Chasetown goal last Saturday.

The Evo-Stik NPL First Division South side have appointed Anthony Buckle as caretaker manager ahead of their trip to Gresley FC on Saturday. Former Kidsgrove midfielder Buckle was assistant manager to Peter Ward last season and was joint manager alongside David Twigg back in 2004-06.
