The Mariners - who lifted the FA Vase at Wembley in May after winning the Northern League Cup and Durham Challenge Cup while earning promotion - are pictured enjoying an open top bus parade after being invited to take part in the South Tyneside Summer Parade.
After being given the civic seal of approval for their historic 2016-17 campaign last week at South Shields Town Hall, the new EVO-STIK League North club's squad, joint managers Graham Fenton and Lee Picton, their staff and chairman Geoff Thompson were feted for a second time in a week as they prepare to step up from the Northern League.
Expressing their pride afterwards, @SouthShieldsFC tweeted: "It was a true honour to be invited along by @STynesideEvents today. Thank you for helping provide us with memories we'll never forget!"
Mariners keeper Liam Connell, pictured with his daughter after the families of players were invited on board to be cheered through the streets, tweeted: "Leading the South Shields parade with the @SouthShieldsFC lads today was an experience, the bairn loved it, nice to get amongst the fans."
