The former Worcester Raiders, Littleton and Westfields hot-shot signed for the Premier Division's Glassboys this summer after hitting 30 goals at Step 7 last term for Bromyard Town in the West Midlands Regional League's First Division.
The 23-year-old has been on trial north of the border for the past week and scored for the Scottish club's development team in a friendly against Brentford last Friday. The forward, who has scored prolifically at every club he has been at, is viewed by the Easter Road coaching staff as a rough diamond with development potential.
On Wednesday night, local media and Stourbridge's official Twitter account were reporting that gaining international clearance for the player may be holding up his unveiling by Hibs boss Alan Stubbs.
A statement regarding Insall's dream move to the pro game has not been made by either club and the player's contractual situation at the War Memorial Athletic ground is not known.
Insall was given a suspended jail term for punching an opponent while playing for Pershore Town in 2011 but has steered clear of trouble since.
