International milestone for Radcliffe

Raheem Hanley has become the first player in Radcliffe FC history to receive an international call-up.

Hanley, 27, has been called up for Saint Kitts and Nevis’ upcoming World Cup 2022 qualifiers against Puerto Rico and Bahamas.

Born in the Blackburn, the left-sided player played for England at Under 19s level, but qualifies for the Caribbean country through his grandfather. He made his senior debut in November 2018.

The former Blackburn, Swansea, Northampton, Halifax, Chorley, Hereford and Mossley man has won six international caps since.

He joined Radcliffe last year, and played in two of their five 2020/21 league games before the season was suspended and subsequently curtailed.
