Keeping fit with: Tunde Owolabi

NHS advice is for people to only leave the house when necessary, regularly wash your hands for 20 seconds and to avoid touching your face, nose or eyes with unwashed hands.

On keeping fit, FC United of Manchester’s Tunde Owolabi said: “The managerial staff pretty much want us to keep on top of our fitness.

“The team is very fit and that’s why we play good explosive football. We all know we have a responsibility to keep fit in this hard times. We know what’s expected from us all.

“We have a real good understanding amongst ourselves, so Neil and the coaching staff respect and trust us to do the right thing and we return the favour by ensuring we do just that.”

The striker continued, appreciating the time to spend with family and friends: “I like to do my core work when I wake up. I go for a run to keep my body in tune.

“But during the course of the season, many would not have been able to spend quality times with family.

“This is a perfect time to do just that. Family is important for us all. So use this time to regain lost time and spend quality with family.

“Many families across the world have lost loved ones due to this Coronavirus predicament and I pray and hope they can get some kind of comfort during this difficult time. Us that still have families and loved ones, we should feel privileged and therefore cherish what we have and spend as much time with them as possible.”
