Kick offs delayed after serious accident on M62

Two of Tuesday night's Evo-Stik Northern Premier League games are expected to kick off late following a serious road traffic accident.

With Padiham and AFC Fylde both badly delayed by heavy traffic following an incident which closed the M62 for most of the afternoon, match officials were hoping Padiham's First Division North fixture at Wakefield would kick off at 8.30pm and the Coasters' Doodson Sport semi-final at Frickley Athletic by 8.45pm.
