Lairds serve up legends

Merseyside footballing legends Jan Molby and Duncan McKenzie are set to entertain fans of Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Cammell Laird in October.

The First Division North outfit announced on Monday that former Liverpool and Denmark midfielder Molby, 50, and ex-Everton striker McKenzie, now 63, have agreed to be guests of honour at their Sportsman's Hot-Pot Evening on Friday 18 October.

Taking place at the Lairds Sports Club in Rock Ferry, the event kicks off at 7.30pm with tickets priced at £20. Organisers say Merseyside comedian Sean Styles will also be on stage with a raffle and auction also taking place on the night.
