Warrington Town’s new Managing Director Toby Macormac and manager Shaun Reid doubled up on the BBC’s airwaves on Saturday night.
Within a few hours of extending their lead at the top of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League’s First Division North table with a 3-2 win over Mossley, the pair were at the BBC’s new Media City in Salford appearing on BBC 5 Live’s 606 programme followed by a second appearances on the station’s Non-League Show.
Listeners to the BBC’s flagship 606 phone-in show for fans also heard pundit Robbie Savage choose Warrington’s title rivals Curzon Ashton as his ‘Non-League Team of the Day’ after their 3-1 over Kendal on Saturday.
Macormac took over at Cantilever Park on Thursday after former Chairman Gary Skentelbery stood down after nearly four years at the helm. Due to increased business commitments, he has switched to a new role as Director of Community Affairs. Fellow Director Richard Sutton replaced Skentelbery as Chairman after switching from his previous post of CEO.
