Named as one of October's winners at the start of the month alongside Spennymoor Town in the top flight and Shaw Lane AFC in EVO-STIK NPL First Divison South, the Hillmen were honoured at Surrey Street on Saturday before their latest victory in EVO-STIK NPL First Division North, a 2-0 win over Brighouse Town.
Glossop North End chairman Dave Atkinson and manager Chris Willcock are pictured flanking Bostik's Clive Timmins before being presented with a glass trophy as a permanent memento of the club's achievement. Like all winners, they also collected a bottle of spirits from the sponsors to toast their success with.
The monthly competition to reward the league's top performers in league and national cup competitions is being sponsored once again by Bostik, parent company of Northern Premier League's title sponsors EVO-STIK, the Hillmen earning their division's accolade for a record of four wins out of four in the league and a 2-0 victory over Tadcaster Albion in the preliminary round of the Buildbase FA Trophy.
