EVO-STIK League

The EVO-STIK League's reputation for fair play and sportsmanship was on show again at Wembley on Sunday before Manchester City took on Arsenal in the FA Community Shield.

League Operations manager Alan Allcock and Skelmersdale United manager Tommy Lawson were both at the national stadium for the annual curtain-raiser to the new season after the EV0-STIK League's 'Respect double' at the FA's 2013-14 Fair Play and Respect Awards this summer.

Allcock picked picked up the FA's National League System Steps 1-4 League Respect and Fair Play Award for the fourth time in five years on behalf of the NPL while Lawson was presented the FA’s National League System Steps 1-4 Respect and Fair Play Club Award, the fifth time in five years a league club has scooped the coveted title as the best behaved side in the country.

As well as featuring in interviews on the big screens at Wembley before the 3-0 win for Arsenal, the EVO-STIK League's on-going domination of the FA's annual Respect awards also featured in the matchday programme for the showpiece fixture.
