League recruiting new administrator

By David Watters

The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League is looking for a motivated and dependable individual with a desire to build a career in football administration to join its team in the newly created position of Administration Officer.

Based in the North/North West and initially home-based, the part-time post comes with a salary circa £9,000 to £11,000, depending on experience.

The EVO-STIK NPL is an FA charter standard competition comprising 68 semi-professional football clubs and the NPL Football Academy, covering Northern England and the Midlands.

The successful candidate will work closely with the league's secretary and other league officers in a highly effective team, providing support and guidance to its member clubs. They will also be expected to take on a variety of responsibilities that require good interpersonal, numeracy and IT skills.

A detailed understanding of the league’s rules and procedures for all types of player registrations and transfers would be an advantage, although full training will be given. Applicants should have a sound knowledge and experience of working with social media applications.

Flexibility is a key requirement as the individual will sometimes be required to work outside of normal office hours to meet the day to day operational requirements of the EVO-STIK NPL. Applicants should be car owners with a clean driving licence.

To apply, please send a CV and covering letter outlining how your skills, knowledge and experience make you the ideal candidate for this role, together with your current salary, to Mrs Angie Firth, League Secretary, Northern Premier Football League, 23 High Lane, Norton Tower, Halifax HX2 0NW. Alternatively, applications can be made via e-mail to: afirth@evostikleague.co.uk.

The closing date for applications is midday on Tuesday 1st June. Interviews will be held during June for commencement as soon as possible.
