League statement: points deduction

The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's First Division North table has been amended to reflect the point deducted from Hyde United following the expiration of their 14 days to appeal against a penalty for playing an ineligible player.

The table was amended at 10pm on Thursday 13 April to reflect the single point deduction and £100 fine imposed by the EVO-STIK NPL’s disciplinary panel on Wednesday 29 March 2017 after considering charges brought against the club in relation to the Football Association Rule 6.9, Playing an Ineligible Player.

After the case relating to a player participating in the club’s 0-0 draw at Ossett Town on Saturday 29 October 2016 whilst subject to FA disciplinary suspension was proven, the panel imposed the minimum fine allowed and ruled that the points gained in the fixture be deducted from the record. No order for costs was made and no further statement will be made on this matter by the EVO-STIK NPL.
