Mossley have ensured their squad's title challenge won't be derailed by winter weather after announcing a new partnership with a local hotel and leisure group.

The Evo-Stik NPL First Division North Lilywhites are now using the state-of-the-art gymnasium facilities, including training studios and the swimming pool, at The Village Hotel for their training sessions.

On Thursday Mossley's management team of Steve Halford and Peter Band headed for the complex in Hyde to unveil the partnership before putting their squad through their paces ahead of Saturday's home fixture against Ossett Town.

In return the Seel Park outfit are set to publicise The Village Hotel with pitchside hoardings, in their matchday programmes and on the club’s official website.

As part of the deal, staff from the leisure group also enjoyed a sponsor's hospitality package for Mossley's home win over Garforth Town. Band, left, and Halford, second right, are pictured welcoming James Elmore and Craig Arnold to Seel Park.

Assistant manager Band said: "I would like to thank the Village in Hyde for all their help in keeping the lads fit while the weather has been horrible. The facilities are top notch and it’s great that a local business are helping out a local club."
