The 17-year-old was taken off injured after scoring the opening goal in Clitheroe's 2-0 win over Mossley last weekend.
He is set to see a specialist this week in London after the Blues confirmed he'd ruptured medial collateral ligaments in his knee and also suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Hendry, pictured, has been on loan at the First Division North club since the start of the season from Blackburn Rovers where his father Colin Hendry won the Premier League in 1995.
Now 49, he's been a regular face at the ground watching his son whose last couple of seasons at Blackburn's academy had already been disrupted by injury.
Since recovering this season, the speedy teenager had already scored six goals for the Blues and a club spokesman said: "Everybody at Clitheroe Football Club wishes Callum all the best in his recovery and will keep fans updated on the 17-year-old's progress."
Hendry was in good spirits on Saturday despite his injury woes, wishing his teammates well on Twitter before they went on to beat Harrogate Railway Athletic 3-0 at Shawbridge.
