Chorley’s season ticket holders can get a discount on their haircuts from now until the end of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League campaign after the Magpies teamed up with a swanky new barbers, writes Josh Vosper.

The Premier Division club announced their latest commercial partnership with The Men’s Lounge Gentleman’s Barbers this week, with a trio of Magpies stars the first to have their locks trimmed.

Adam Roscoe, Andy Teague and Simon Wiles, pictured, should all be looking their best for Saturday’s FA Trophy clash with Matlock Town at Victory Park after helping to launch the new deal for supporters at the barbers in nearby Buckshaw Village.

Owner Andrew Kelly, 33, said "We’ve been in the unit for the last three months and the support we’ve had has been fantastic. I’ve been cutting hair for over ten years and enjoy every minute of it. After opening up a business in New Longton I thought it would be great to expand and can’t wait to start a new venture in Buckshaw Village."

Kelly, who will be working alongside fellow hairdresser Alan Gosling, added "I’ve heard about the work Garry Flitcroft has been doing at Chorley FC and wanted to get involved. The club plays a pivotal role in the community and everybody hopes it’s a season to remember. It was great meeting some of the current squad and hope they return for a trim."
