Nasseri represented the academy at Manchester United up until the age of 16, before having spells within the youth ranks at Crewe Alexandra, Blackburn Rovers and Bury.
In July 2014, he joined Birmingham City, before moving to Macclesfield Town two years later.
Nasseri joined Swedish Club Syrianska in March 2017, before returning to England the following January to sign for League One side Gillingham.
Signing a one-year professional deal with The Gills in the summer of 2017, he then signed for Northern Irish side Glentoran in October 2019 - where he scored on his debut against Coleraine.
He helped Glentoran to lift the 2020 Irish Cup before going on to help Linfield to a league and cup double the following season.
