Magpies deal to tempt fans

Chorley have slashed ticket prices for Tuesday night's Doodson Sport Cup clash with Cammell Laird, writes Josh Vosper.

Manager Garry Flitcroft's Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division Magpies welcome the First Division North Lairds to Victory Park in the Third Round.

Tickets have been cut to £5 for adults and £3 for concessions in a bid to tempt fans out again after Saturday's 1-0 home win over Blyth Spartans.

Chorley Chairman Ken Wright said the club is hoping for a good crowd when they kick off in the competition and want to encourage their community's next generation of supporters to start calling Victory Park home.

He said: "With games coming thick and fast at the moment, we want to try and give everyone value for money at Victory Park. We are committed to doing everything we can to allow as many young supporters as possible to come to Chorley games, which is why we have priced this cup fixture at just £3 for juniors. Hopefully we will see a good crowd at the game to help the players and start a good cup run."
