Morris, pictured, took over alongside Maguire at the Nanpantan Sports Ground last October as the successors to Tommy Brookbanks. In a statement confirming his departure, officials at the First Division South club said he'd stood down to concentrate on his coaching career at Derby County who paid £3m for his services in 1999 when they were in the Premier League.
The 33-year-old kicked off a lengthy playing career at Sheffield United before going on to play for Derby, Leicester City, Yeovil Town, Burton, Hereford United, Kidderminster Harriers, Solihull Moors, Leek Town and Eastwood, where he got his first taste of coaching.
Maguire will hope to improve Dynamo's fortunes and build on their two league wins so far after Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Daventry Town, their fifth reverse of the season.
Loughborough Dynamo
Loughborough Dynamo chairman Frank Fall said: “Following a recent upgrade in his position at Derby County, joint-manager Lee Morris feels that he will be unable to give the commitment and time to Loughborough Dynamo and has therefore resigned.
“Joint-manager Jason Maguire remains at Loughborough Dynamo, together with all the backroom staff, for the foreseeable future.”
