Martin leaves Radcliffe

Goalkeeper Ollie Martin has left Radcliffe after the club decided he wasn’t in their future plans.

Martin, 24, has spent the past two seasons with the Boro, keeping 33 clean sheets in 90 appearances.

He said: “My time at Radcliffe has come to an end, as unfortunately I’m not in the plans for next season.

“Playing every minute, I’ve had plenty of fond memories over the two seasons I’ve had at the club, none better than winning promotion in the 2018/19 play-off final and young player of the year 2018/19.

“Thank you to Gaz Lazenbury for introducing me to Jon Macken and Frank Sinclair, who along with others such as Paul Hilton and Marcus McCabe placed their trust in me for the duration of such huge seasons for the club.

“What happens next, we’ll wait and see.”
