Memorabilia range sells well

Ashton United's Supporters Club have launched a new range of limited pin badges depicting the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club's ground.

Fans at the the Premier Division's Robins say sales of their first batch of the new memorabilia range are going well. Available with either a black or red border, they are on sale at the club shop at Hurst Cross or available online via Ashton United's official website and priced at £3 plus post and packaging.

Club Shop Manager Dave Baxendale said: "This is a new idea which we believe will interest the many collectors of pin badges out there in the football world, and beyond. We have one of the oldest grounds in the country and we believe we should celebrate that fact.

"There are only limited numbers of this badge available, particularly the one with the red border, and sales are brisk since we received the stock. No doubt they will increase further one the season is under way and the shop is open more frequently."
