With the winners of the third qualifying round tie heading to Stockport County in the competition's first round proper on Saturday 10 December, Mariners chairman Paul Leary is urging fans to turn out in force at the Marine Travel Arena after their 2-2 draw in the North East with last season's EVO-STIK NPL champions.
The replay was originally set to be played on Tuesday before being frozen off and Leary said: “I appeal to the many Merseyside football fans to come to our replay on Tuesday to give us that extra support in what will be a really tough game.
"Darlington are a big and powerful side who are pushing for promotion to the National League but if we can play as we did on Saturday then we have every chance to progress with the reward of a first ever meeting with Stockport County at Edgeley Park.”
He added: “Before the replay though we are have a league game this coming Saturday at home against Halesowen Town. It is hoped that we shall have one or two new signings available for this game as we bid to move up the table in the coming weeks.”
Tuesday's match kicks off at 7:45pm with admission prices set at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
