Midfielder Williams returns to Warrington Town

Warrington Town have announced the return of midfielder Sean Williams on loan from Altrincham.

Williams, 29, scored 15 goals in 72 appearances for the Yellows between 2016 and 2018, before moving up to National League North.

He has gone on to rack up more than 100 appearances for Altrincham, where he also spent a season back in 2014.

In 2017/18, Williams finished second top scorer to help the Yellows finish third in the Northern Premier League, though the season came to an end with defeat to Grantham Town in the play-offs, in what was Williams’ final appearance for the club.
