Kendal Town

EVO-STIK League Kendal Town are looking for a new manager to run their ladies team next season.

After winning promotion from the Cumbria Women’s League in 2013, the Mintcakes now compete in the North West Women’s Regional League and are also keen to recruit new players this summer to fulfill the club’s ambition of climbing further up the ladder of the ladies football development pyramid.

The First Division North club’s officials have set a deadline for applications of Friday 4 July and say interviews for the voluntary role will take place ten days later on Thursday 10 July.

The club’s ladies play home games at the Parkside Road stadium and train on the 3G pitches at Dallam School in Milnthorpe.

Kendal say the successful candidate will have at least two years experience of coaching, a first aid certificate and an enhanced CRB. An FA Level 2 coaching certificate and experience with players aged 16 and over is also desirable for the successful candidate who will also be instrumental in appointing the team’s assistant manager and coach.

Applications, including a football CV, should be sent via email to Kendal Town Secretary Craig Campbell at: craig_campbell1@sky.com.
