Monday's First Division North action review

By David Watters

Warrington Town showed just why they now sit thirteen points clear at the top of the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's First Division North after condemning second-bottom Harrogate Railway Athletic to their heaviest defeat of the season on Monday night,

Ged Kinsella put the Yellows ahead after just three minutes before Scott Metcalfe eight minutes later and then Joe Holt on 24 minutes, took the visitors into the break 3-0 up.

Warrington didn’t let up after the interval and added four more unanswered goals through Ben Deegan on 49 minutes, Kinsella again on 57 minutes, Steven Gillespie from the penalty spot on 75 minutes and Ciaran Kilheeney four minutes after that to bring an end to Rail’s recent resurgence.
