Monday's First Division South action review

The only game in the EVO-STIK League on Monday night was a First Division South encounter between Romulus and Norton United at Coles Lane, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Scott Meer gave the home side a 17th minute lead they held until five minutes from the break when Tom Fogg levelled from the penalty spot. Four minutes after half-time Norton took the lead through Niall Green and he eventually added a second in the 81st minute.

Aaron Moses-Garvey gave Roms` hope of a comeback when he reduced the arrears two minutes later, but the league's new boys held on to increase the Roms` home woes.
