Mossley signed talented goalkeeper Russell Saunders from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League rivals New Mills on Thursday.
The 24-year-old kicked off his career as a trainee with Wigan Athletic before being released in 2009 to join Ashton United. After a spell with Altrincham, Saunders was voted Supporters' Player of the Year at Hyde in 2010 before switching to Chorley where he made the number one shirt his own.
The stopper signed for NWCFL Stockport Sports at the start of the current campaign before moving to Evo-Stik NPL First Division North New Mills before Christmas, making his Millers debut against Mossley on New Year's Day.
