Murray puts pen to paper with Hebburn

Hebburn Town have announced that Liam Murray has signed a contract with the club.

The young midfielder came through the ranks at Hebburn, joining the club at the age of four, and has since made 16 senior appearances for the Hornets.

The 21-year-old impressed for their U23s team and made his first team debut in December 2021.

Murray also picked up some Northern League experience with Jarrow last season.

Following his arrival, Hebburn Town manager Daniel Moore sees the potential Murray has, saying: "He said "He's been outstanding since he came in.

“We've told him that we'll stay on his case to make him a better player - we'll work with him and do what we can to make him play for this club at the highest level possible."
