Nantwich Town bring in promising Bolton youngster

Nantwich Town have signed Bolton Wanderers midfielder Giovanni Loureiro on a work experience loan until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old Portuguese attacking player has been with Bolton for the last two years, having previously been in the youth systems at Championship duo Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City.

He is the younger brother of Wanya Marcal, who broke into Leicester’s first team this season.

Loureiro joins a Dabbers side currently vying for promotion back to the Northern Premier League.

Paul Carden's side have won their last four matches in a row ahead of their Good Friday trip to fellow promotion hopefuls Runcorn Linnets.

Such form has left them just three points adrift of the final play-off spot ahead of a busy Easter weekend which also sees them host relegation-threatened Hednesford Town on Monday afternoon.
