Nantwich Town provide squad update as two players depart
Eight of Nantwich Town's first team squad have agreed contract extensions ahead of the new season, the club have confirmed.
Dan Cockerline, Sean Cooke, Perry Bircumshaw, Jon Moran, Stevie Hewitt, Joel Connolly, Jack Sherratt and Caspar Hughes have all joined long-serving defender Troy Bourne in committing to the Dabbers.
Preparations continue ahead of their upcoming campaign in the Pitching In NPL West Division following the club's relegation from Step 3 at the end of last season.
New arrivals are expected in the coming days, but manager Paul Carden has been working hard to keep the core of his squad together.
Meanwhile, the Dabbers have also confirmed the departure of Tom Scully and Mwiya Malumo.
The pair made a combined half-century of appearances for the club during the previous campaign, with Malumo also scoring four goals.
