Nantwich Town strengthen midfield

Versatile midfielder Nathan Okome has become the first signing of the Paul Carden era at Nantwich Town.

Okome has arrived from National League North side Chorley on a month-long loan.

The versatile midfielder started his career at Macclesfield Town, and has also played for other Cheshire clubs including Sandbach, Knutsford, 1874 Northwich and Witton Albion.

The 21-year-old has made six appearances for Chorley this season, as well as having a loan spell at Glossop North End, where he made 12 appearances in all competitions up to the end of February.

He could make his Dabbers debut on Saturday afternoon as they welcome high-flying Hyde United to the Weaver Stadium.
