Curzon Ashton

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Curzon Ashton are recruiting a new physiotherapist to work at the Tameside Stadium.

The First Division North club’s Secretary Robert Hurst says they are hoping to attract a suitably qualified physiotherapist to provide full cover for all the club's senior sides, led predominantly by John Flanagan's first team. Preferably, they’ll be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and already have experience working in football.

Weekly expenses will be paid and owning a car would be desirable for the successful applicant who'll be required to attend all first team games and training sessions to provide pitch side aid as required.

Based at the club’s modern treatment room at the Tameside Stadium which is also equipped with a defibrillator, the new physiotherapist will give medical treatment, support and rehabilitation to players from the club’s senior teams and be responsible for devising individual treatment plans.

Hurst said: "The post would suit somebody who is developing a career as a sports therapist or physiotherapist as it will afford them experience in treating injuries on and off the pitch.”
