Whitham, 21, joined Alfreton from Liversedge at the beginning of the 2022 campaign, and appeared eight times for the Reds.
The new Lions winger made his debut in front of the home fans at Nethermoor Park on Saturday, netting late on in a 3-1 loss to Warrington Town.
On his arrival at Guiseley, Whitham said: “I want to help the side kick on in their quest for promotion.
“I was doing well as a striker as a youngster, but when I reached the first team at Stocksbridge, the strikers in that league were a lot bigger than me.
“My pace and ability to go direct are my strengths, and I hope to show that at Guiseley.
“The management sound very positive and I am buzzing to get started.
“I want to challenge myself and it was a no-brainer to take the opportunity to join a club like Guiseley.”
