Worksop Town manager Mark Shaw handed debuts to two 'significant' signings in Wednesday night's 3-0 win over Whitby Town in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.
The Tigers manager, who's been looking to strengthen his Premier Division squad, signed former Burnley keeper Jon Stewart and brought in centre half Adam Quinn on a month's loan from Bradford Park Avenue.
Shaw said: "These are two significant signings, just what we have been looking for. A tall, commanding goalkeeper and a no nonsense experienced centre half who will organise the defence."
Stewart, 24, kicked off his career at Swindon Town before moving on to Weymouth, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and Burnley. During his time at Burnley he enjoyed two loan spells at Alfreton Town.
Defender Quinn, 31, started out at Halifax Town where he spent six years before moving on to Darlington, Barrow and Alfreton Town. He joined Bradford Park Avenue at the start of the season from Alfreton Town.
