New fans station is online hit

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Carlton Town have launched a new podcast to entertain fans and keep them in touch with the latest news at The Bill Stokeld Stadium.

More than 200 supporters have already heard interviews with manager Les Mcjannet and Carlton star Grant Brindley on Millers Radio, launched in time for their 5-0 win over Romulus in their final First Division South fixture of 2013.

New press officer James Morton fired off the questions in the interviews which are available to download via the club’s website. He's planning many more over the second half of the season after teaming up with the club's new commercial manager Brian Dennett to get the new service up and running for fans.

Following the release of his latest interview with Millers Chairman Mick Garton, Morton said: "The new service has really caught peoples’ imagination and with interviews to follow on an ongoing basis with players and management the future looks bright for Millers Radio!"
